Mandate:
To take charge of the breeding, culture, production, and distribution of high-value mariculture species in the South to encourage the development of community marina-type projects in municipal waters.
Function:
Serves as a hub for mariculture innovation and technical assistance. Through its continued support for the breeding and culture of high-value marine species such as pompano, groupers, and siganids, the Center directly contributes to increasing fish production and enhancing the supply of quality fingerlings for mariculture farms and community-based projects.
