March 17, 2025 – Panabo City, Davao del Norte

Grade 12 STEM students from Panabo City National High School completed their On-the-Job Training (OJT) at the National Mariculture Center, culminating in a ceremony at Fishyalan Hall.

A total of 30 students, divided into two batches, completed 80 hours of hands-on training in mariculture-related STEM applications. Batch 2 trained from February 6–21, while Batch 3 followed from February 24–March 7. Work immersion teachers Roland S. Labad and Jeneth D. Tabungar led the program, alongside National Mariculture Center representatives.

The students showcased what they had learned in aquaculture, marine resource management, and technology applications. Officials commended their dedication, highlighting the program’s role in preparing future professionals in sustainable fisheries and marine sciences.
